Anvil is a kenya femal sensational singer,
signed to the Ogopa Deejays label. She has been featured in a couple of songs by Kenyan artists as well as some artists from outside Kenya including A.Y in Tanzania and LAM from Sudan.
Born Judith Nyambura Mwangi, she grew up in an urban setting. Avril participated in a variety of school competitions in poetry and drama while still in elementary and high school (Uganda). She was the school MC while in primary school. While in high school In Uganda, took an active role in acting, singing and directing school plays.
She was later discovered by Ogopa Deejays Kenya and has been part of numerous songs that needed backups. She has now released her debut single ‘Mama’ that is being played in Kenya and East Africa in general.
Avril is currently pursuing a degree in design at the University of Nairobi.
She aspires to be an inspiration to the youth in Africa to strive towards achieving whatever goals they have set for themselves.
